The Little Gym is a children's enrichment center offering non-competitive gymnastics and movement classes for children ages 4 months through 12 years. In Huntersville, The Little Gym is part of the Sports & Fitness community.
Programs & Classes
Offering a range of activities to meet different needs
Classes start with babies at 4 months in parent-child sessions and grow through Pre-K up to 12-year-olds:
- Infant, baby, and toddler parent-child classes (ages 0-3 years)
- Pre-K gymnastics (ages 3-6 years)
- Grade school gymnastics (6-12 years)
- Parents' Night Out (once a month for 3-12 year-olds who are potty independent)
- Seasonal Camps (both day camps and summer camps)
- Birthday parties and events
New families can try introductory classes or drop-in class passes before committing.

The Little Gym builds kids' confidence and social-emotional learning through recreational gymnastics and movement. No pressure, no scoring - just kids laughing, leaping, and learning at their own pace. This joy sets them up for success.
Owner Kayla Shannon started here as an instructor in 2009, purchased the franchise with her husband Brian in 2016, and is now back in the classroom as a parent herself. Gym Director Marissa leads a team of coaches, including former Little Gym kids who've returned to teach the next generation.
